Well this time things went a bit better with classes - Thursday’s schedule was being followed on Thursday. Music 8 look like it is going to be painful. The teacher seems nice, but we are going to be assigned seats by vocal type so we can sing. I don’t want to sing. It should be easy though, the tests are just to photocopy the homework we do and he will grade it. IST 301 was the same as last semester; we went over the business of a lemonade stand. Music 9 is going to be a lot more work. I have to find a concert that is not of my background and write a paper on it. Maybe the Net will help me out there. IST 402 : Emerging Technologies aka Hacking 101 is going to be fun and an easy A. Philosophy 103 might not be as bad as I thought - the teacher seems really energetic and doesn’t just lecture. She gets the class envolved. Quote of the class : "Porn stars can say no too."
I purchased a tablet on Friday, figuring now was as good a time as any to get back into art. My sketching needs a lot of work, so I figured I’d start with the coloring of a sketch once I scan it. I started with MegaTokyo’s 600th strip. My colored version can be found in the new sketchbook gallery I made. I’ll upload things there as I work on them.
On the recode front I changed it so the site no longer uses querystring. For example blogs are now /archives/year/month/day/title instead of archive.php?year=year...etc. Sorry to the Livejournal people who got flooded by my syndication feed when this change went through.
