Yes, my posting skills are lacking, as even my mom has pointed out. You know you need to post when that happens.
I got my grades for the semester - all B’s and B+’s. Good enough for me. I figured I’m only really going to college to get the paper so that Human Resourses at whatever company I end up working at things I’m just that much more qualified for the job. I’m not really learning anything yet, so that’s the only reason I can see to stick it out. However next semester, my one class looks like it may be cool. The networking class I am taking in is Linux (Redhat though, beh!). I ended up talking to the teacher today and he said that the people he feels that know their shit will get locked in a room and have to set up a cluster of linux servers, instead of having us go over the boring "Ok, now this is how you ping." Thank god! That will be great seeing as the main reason I am in this class is so that I can go into the advanced networking class (where I think I will really learn something) in the spring.
I had an interview today for my IST internship I am applying for. I hope I got it. My resume basicly matched what they said the "ideal student" would be for the job, in terms of knowledge and experiance. I should find out within a week or so what is going on with that.
So, of course, where was I last Thursday (May 15th)? Where else, Matrix Reloaded! I thought it was pretty cool. The one rave scene was a bit out of place, but the rest of it was very well done. I think the plot twist was good too - they needed something like that to make sure that it wasn’t your typical boring sequal. I can’t wait for the last movie, and thank god I don’t have to wait 4 years this time around.
Basicly everything else is your typical summer thus far. Sleeping odd hours, late night coding and Wawa runs, you know - my usual. I still haven’t gotten around to recoding this site into PHP so I can finally fix the hit counter so it shows more than one unique hit a day. Maybe I’ll try to do that soon...
