Since you are reading this you must already realize that I am back online. After much bitching, and moaning, I got the intertnet people to come and look at my computer, only to have them realize that I have been right all along, it was not and issue on my end. And now, I work again. YAY! Network games here I come...
Student A gets to PSU on Aug 18th. Student A stands in line for 1 hour to get a form to sign up for the internet. Student A waits 2 days to get the information that he needs to get online, all the while being told that it is "in the mail." Student A types in all the information, only to find out they PSU won’t connect him till the 21st. Student A waits till the 21st, then 22, 23, 24, 25...still nothing. Student A continues to explain to the computer assistants that it is not his computer. Student A reinstalls Win2k just to prove that it is not his fault. Student A is pissed ad still waiting.
Installing my new 1.2 gHz AMD was more painful then I thought. I spent all week getting windows and linux to work. They work, but with one problem. Durring the mess I deleted my old SQL DB data. Yeah, ouch. Its going to take a while to get it all back. But, beyond that,all is well.
